AEGIS – Sgt. Major Seyla S’tar, sesheyan, is currently under investigation for selling military secrets to External forces. Sgt. S’tar was witnessed giving an X3D to a man dressed in all black. When the pair was approached, a sudden darkness fell around the area and obscured vision. It is suspected that this individual was a Gardhyi agent.

OBERON – With the present trade situation in the Verge, Regent Christopher Hale signed a pardon for Thomas Kind of the Oberon system. In exchange for the pardon, Kind has agreed to sell Rhodium to the Verge Alliance and to supply information to the Alliance on the current state of affairs in that system.

OBERON – On February 3rd, the Oberon system fell to the External forces currently in the Verge. I was able to catch a glimpse of the invading force as we made our escape from the system. It appears that rumors of a “Cathedral” ship have been correct, since I was able to see the Ascension first hand.

Tendril, Alaundril--- A squad of light bio-organic cruisers lead by the sifarv dreadnought flagship, the Nighthawk, focused their attacks on the lesser-known and lesser defended settlement of Alaundril, destroying the habitat dome and holding their position in blockade-fashion around the small city. Reports of ground troops, both klick and kroath, ring the settlement, and are openly hostile. No further attacks to the city have been reported, but Shadowrock sources confirm that the infamous Tendril Burn, which would kick up the radiation exposure from 17 rems a week, to 340 rems/week or 47.6 rems a day, is due in less than eight hours. To make matters worse, there are unconfirmed reports that the supplies of both anti-radiation serum and e-suits are not sufficient to protect the population.

THE VERGE 01/03/2504 – Trading consortiums across the Verge met today to discuss the sudden climate change for prices. While pirate activity is at an all time low with the loss of Lucullus, shipping protection for the smallest tradeships is at an all time high. Mercs from across the Verge are getting top dollar to protect small tradeships.

Babel, Alaundril Today a small group of Borealin explorers revealed to the Verge the successful completion of their quest. “After over one hundred and fifty years, the great Vandelhel Holgraphic Art collection has been retrieved by the Grand Earl of New Tuscany, Antonio Gabilini,” Antonio exclaimed in his announcement. The financier of the expedition, Nutelly Tuvelov noted, “the discovery solves one of the top five missing art cases in the whole of the ring. The mission was a harrowing one, but well worth it, considering both the cultural and financial price of these pieces.” The expedition members noted that a good deal of work remained in the project.

Tugunsta, OHMEL - Just in time to mark the second month of the Tugunsta crisis, a city dome on Ohmel was shattered by forces unknown. “These mercenary forces seem intent on committing genocide. The people of Ohmel will not sit idly by while they are slaughtered by foreign forces,” a Ngongwe spokesman relayed to TVN. “The Concord must end its petty blockade, and allow us to seek help.” Rebel factions based at Tugunsta, responded in turn. In an official statement they said, “The Ngongwe government is using our presence to conduct a campaign of terror against its enemies. Their lies will eventually be exposed, and the people of Ohmel will know who their true defenders are.” It is becoming clear that the forces that started this crisis are beginning to splinter, as they follow an increasingly divergent agenda. It appears they may be even starting to fight each other. The Concord in the meantime has dispatched a small fleet in an attempt to avert a possible foreign intervention.

BLUEFALL, AEGIS 12/25/2503 – Merry Christmas to all of my readers and I hope this reaches you before the New Year. I received my Christmas wish a week ago when I not only survived in an escape pod from the Lighthouse, but was recovered in the oceans of Bluefall by friendly forces. I’m currently on Regency Island, and the evidence of a hard fought battle is everywhere.
